Taken just a few days ago (Tuesday? Monday? I forget). Being noisy outside & this guy was frozen, barely moving on the steps up to our home. Not really sure what was up with that, he (she?) was just unusually calm and still. Like he was waiting for death, in a way.

I was within five feet when I took this - he didn't take off running until I was within two feet. Very odd behavior.

Oh, hello everyone! I'm definitely gonna keep being quiet for a bit, but I miss the interaction here. I'll probably post a couple more of this summer's adventures over the weekend, before the crush of daily life comes back...
