Back Street in Beijing

Well this is an attempt to lighten my travel load. Instead of taking my usual D-SLR kit... I am testing whether the new Canon G1X high end point and shoot can cut it as a decent travel camera.

5 shot HDR. As the PromoteControl HDR sequencer does not work with this body I did it manually.

I found a Phottix wireless remote control for taking the shot without having to touch the camera... and changed the shutter speed manually in between exposures.

Used a lightweight GITZO tripod, and Really Right Stuff ball-head.

Taken in one of the side streets adjacent to the Forbidden City in Beijing, China.
