Boeboe fiel has added a photo to the pool:
Seacliff beach is one of the greatest photo locations near Edinburgh. It looks completely every time you visit it.
Thss was taken on a dreary afternoon, and the light was not really specatcular. Low tide meant I could get real close to the action. There was not much of a wind, but the waves were huge.
I tried not relying on my trusted 10 stops ND filter, but that did not work out.
On the left you can see Tantallon castle, and the island on the right is the Bass Rock. The Bass Rock has a pretty impressive colony of northern gannets.
Some technical specs: one single exposure, F14, 17mm, 35s.
