The beautiful Tibetan Nomads:
Nowadays they are no longer circumambulate on mass the sacred Lake Mapham Yutso (Manasarovar) on foot or on horseback, but also in this case with truck. Its not only easy for small children, also for tents, food stock, cookware and elderly. Incredible how many Nomads will fit in such a small truck, up to ten and even more people close packed together. It looks easy to travel on a truck like this, but I remind you, there is a very very stiff suspension you will feel every rock and pit hole on the dirt road. This transport travels quicker and you can do bigger distances. Nomads who undertake a pilgrimage to the sacred Mountain Gang Ti Se (Kailash), Thirtapuri and Lake Mapham Yutso, are comming from whole Tibet, Amdo, Kham and U-Tsang the three traditonal provinces. At the time I was shooting some pictures here, they invited me to eat and drink.That are Tibetans even at their own busy doing to build the campsite and providing themselfs to eat and drink, and invite you!
