Some friends asked me to do a photoshoot the day after Christmas while their 3 sons were home from college - I have to say it was SUCH a fun shoot - great setting (down by the Spokane River, fresh snow, nice light), fun, beautiful people, snowball fights, laughter, etc. After the shoot was over - this family put their arms around each other as they walked towards their car...I lifted my camera back up to my face..and.. click! Out of the over 350 shots I took, this one is my favorite.
It reminds me to count my blessings not my struggles or troubles; to embrace all the good things and the love I have in my life; and that Life is what I make of it!! :) Sometimes we all need that little reminder :), I know sometimes it's difficult when times are so tough for so many, but just when we think we're drowning in our own problems, you hear of a child suffering through chemo.. or.. I could go on and on..
I hope all my friends had a wonderful Christmas - full of good things - family, friends, love, laughter, great food, music.. :)
